Apply pressure to the area immediately to reduce
momentary stinging sensation.

Repeat procedure on the other side of the mouth
as necessary. Note that the same procedure can
be performed in the following areas, if necessary:

Remove any excess wax with oil or other wax removal
preparation. Check the area and remove stray hairs
with tweezers.

Apply soothing gel or medicated lotion to the entire
waxed area, then show client the results.

Pull the skin taut with one hand, and with the other
hand, remove strip quickly in the opposite direction
of the hair growth. Try not to pull the fabric straight
up. Instead, pull it as close to the skin as possible.
