FACIAL WITH MULTI-FUNCTION MACHINE PROCEDURE
The multi-function machine usually has four to eight attachments, including the rotating brush for
exfoliating, steamer, vacuum (suction) and toner spray. This machine is explained in more detail in
Chapter 6, Electricity and Electrical Equipment. Note that the blue numbers reflect the Basic Facial
Procedure steps outlined in the box on page 342.
Exfoliate With Rotating Brush Step-by-Step:
STEP 1: Apply manual exfoliant product.
STEP 2: Dampen brush attachment and insert it into
handpiece.
STEP 3: Make contact with the rotating brush at
jawline, then slowly increase rotation speed.
STEP 4: Work around the entire face two to three times
with the brush rotating in an upward direction.

Wash and sanitize hands.

Obtain cleansing crème.

Apply cleansing crème.

Remove cleansing crème.
REPEAT CLEANSING PROCEDURE (Steps 3-5)
