Dry Skin Facial Treatment - Indirect Application
1. Cleanse
client's
face.
2.
Have the client hold the glass rod electrode.
3.
Place the tips of your fingers against skin on client's face before turning on the High Frequency
current.
4.
Turn on the current, slowly increasing strength. Perform usual facial massage manipulations,
being careful not to lift fingers from client's skin.
5.
Massage according to manufacturer's directions, in most cases for no more than 7 minutes per
treatment. Your fingertips may tingle slightly during contact. This is normal.
6.
Turn off current before removing your fingers from client's face to avoid shock.
7.
Complete facial treatment.
Mild Acne and/or Blackhead Facial Treatment - Direct Application
1.
Cleanse client's face.
2.
Apply the facial electrode directly to the skin and turn on current.
3.
Move the electrode gently across skin, in small circular rotations, while slowly increasing
strength of the current.
4.
Repeat until entire face has been covered at least once, but do not exceed a total of 5 minutes
for the entire treatment.
5.
Turn the current down slowly until it's turned off completely.
6.
Remove the electrode from your client's skin and proceed with the rest of the facial.
Dry Scalp - Indirect Application
1.
Apply moisturizing scalp treatment cream.
2.
Have client hold glass rod electrode.
3.
After putting your hand on the client's scalp, turn on the current.
4.
Perform normal scalp massage, being careful not to break contact with the client, while
gradually increasing current.
5.
Time treatment according to manufacturer's directions, massaging entire scalp.
6.
Turn off the current, maintaining contact with client.
7.
Complete scalp treatment.
Scalp Treatment - Direct Application
1.
Apply moisturizing scalp treatment cream.
2.
Apply scalp electrode (rake) to scalp and turn on current.
3.
Using push-pull movements, manipulate rake electrode over entire scalp while slowly
increasing strength of current.
4.
Continue treatment for approximately 5 minutes.
5.
Turn off current.
6.
Remove electrode rake from scalp and complete scalp treatment.
