Old Tyme
Celebrate a day of family
fun in Historic Weedsport, NY.
On Saturday, December 8th
Weedsport's 11th Annual Old
Tyme Christmas, sponsored by
the Weedsport Area Chamber
of Commerce, will be kicked
off with the 5k Run-Walk
beginning at 10:00AM. There
will be a small parade immedi-
ately after the start of the
race featuring Santa and Mrs.
Santa who will be delivered by
a horse and wagon to their
special Clause chairs. The
Weedsport Free Library will be
on hand to take pictures of
the children with Santa. From
1:00-2:00 Santa will also be
available to pose with your
favorite dog for a nice holiday
picture to share with all of
your friends and family.
Get into the Holiday spirit
as you walk through a small
town where all of the stores
are decked out with lights and
garland. The day will feature
vendors, carolers, antiques,
snow bowling, a silent auction
of many fine items, a raffle for
two Merry-go round theater
tickets, and lots of food.
Bring your stamped christ-
mas cards and letters to the
post office and see Donna Coe,
the postmaster, to have them
hand cancelled with a special
Old Tyme Christmas cancella-
tion stamp designed by Cheryl
Schoonmaker.
We will be featuring
"Operation Safe Child" pre-
sented by the Cayuga County

Vendors throughout the village, plus 14 vendors at the firehouse.
