PrintAction is produced in tabloid size within digital prepress and
computer-to-plate requirements, printed sheetfed offset on premium coated
stock, saddle-stiched, and delivered flat in polybags by Canada Post.

E) Digital File Requirements:
All files and media must be supplied in Macintosh format with a colour
proof (if a colour proof is not supplied, one will be made at advertiser's
expense). We will only accept files in the following applications: Quark-
XPress, Illustrator and Photoshop. Please contact us if you are working
with any other applications or PC-based software. Files should be layed
out in QuarkXPress and built to the exact size the ad is to run with min.
1/8" bleed where required. All support files (photos, illustrations, logos,
etc.) must be in CMYK or Grayscale format and in high resolution (min.
300 dpi.) and saved in either TIFF or EPS format. Photoshop files must
have clipping paths when required. Make sure to include all fonts (screen
& printer) used to create ad. Files can be received on 3.5" floppy disks,
100MB/250MB ZIP disks, 1GB JAZ disks, or CDs. Files can also be e-
mailed to: info@printaction.com. When e-mailing files, please attach a
PDF (for proofing purposes only) or fax a proof to 416-665-7226 (com-
posite as well as colour separated). Please do not e-mail files much larger

Agency Commission: 15% of gross rate allowed to recognized
advertising agencies on space, colour and position.
Terms: Net 30 days, (2% if paid in 10 days), payable at office of
publisher, in Canadian dollars or at U.S. dollar exchange rate on
date of payment.

EGULATIONS
A) Liability:
Advertisers and/or advertising agency assume full responsibility
for all content of advertisements (including text, representation
and illustrations) and any claim made against the publisher
because of such content. Publisher reserves the right to place the
word "advertisement" over copy which in the opinion of the
publisher resembles editorial material. Advertising material will be
stored by the publisher for 12 months and then subject to being
destroyed unless otherwise advised by the advertiser or agency.
B) Contract Rates:
Contract rates are based on the total amount of space used within
12 months from the date of the first insertion. Rateholder principle
not recognized. If the first insertion is not used within 2 issues
published after the date of a contract, and in the meantime a new
rate card is issued, the agreement will be subject to the new rates.
Shortrates will be applied on the basis of actual space run and
actual frequency rate earned. Rebates will be credited.
C) Publisher is not bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise,
appearing on contracts or copy instructions, when such conflict
with the terms of the rate card. Verbal agreements not recognized.
D) Publisher shall be entitled to payment as herein provided, upon
having completed the printing of the advertising and having taken
reasonable steps to ensure that the publication will be distributed.
E) Publisher will not be responsible for reproduction of colour
advertisements unless laser proofs, colour keys or progressively
pulled proofs, as specified are supplied.
F) Advertiser and agency agree that the publisher shall be under no
liability for failure for any cause to insert any advertisement.
G) Publisher reserves right to hold advertiser and/or its advertising
agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and
payable to publisher.
