SECURITY ANALYSIS
In an age of increasing crime on college and university campuses, the demand for safer and more
protected educational environments has multiplied.
PUBLIC EXPECTATIONS
The integrity of an institution's security system can be the determining factor when deciding which
college to attend. In today's competitive higher education market, parents and students alike are
requiring specific information from schools pertaining to crime rates, security personnel,
administrative competence, and current campus safety programs. In the interest of school promotion
and public confidence, it is imperative that institutions be prepared to provide the public with
accurate and positive information.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Prevailing trends in this country are moving towards increasing the attention paid to Security Plan
Development and Program Implementation. As an administrator, you need to be aware of laws that
are currently being enacted on the Federal and State level which require institutions to collect,
maintain, and report data on campus crimes. It is crucial that adequate security measures be taken
to provide security personnel on your campus with the ability to respond effectively in the event a
crime should occur. In addition, your campus personnel must be qualified to handle all types of
crimes, including ones which are prevalent within the academic environment: academic aid fraud,
copyright violations, plagiarism, grade altering, transcript tampering, test theft, illegal computer
hacking, and hazing.

with maximum efficiency and preparedness. Unlike most recommendation oriented reports, the ISES
Security Analysis will provide you with project specific details of how you can correct your problem
areas and estimated budget costs associated with each recommended correction.
Colleges and universities should not wait for a crisis to occur to determine whether or not
they have security deficiencies. ISES Security Analysis is the smart approach.
