Equipment Inventory System
The Equipment Component in ISES FCA is designed to accommodate the storage and retrieval
of data for specific key asset items that are inventoried in the field. When a key asset item is
included in a FCA study, our engineers collect data such as Manufacturer, Model, Type of
Equipment, Location, Serial Number, Owner's ID Number, etc. The inventoried items of
equipment are further categorized by the specific utility that they serve: Steam, Water, Electrical,
HVAC, etc.
In addition, all items are linked to a database table of maintenance procedures. The procedure
table contains a step by step procedure for systematically providing preventive maintenance to
any specified piece of equipment. The procedures are separated by Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-
Annual, and Annual. All procedures have associated budget costs for labor hours spent on the
job and estimates for parts that are typically supplied during the procedure for maintenance.
Reports have been developed which report the hours required to handle all inventoried
equipment's preventive maintenance.
