Magazine Design 2

Deadline: March 23, 2000

Eligibility: All magazine work created between July 1996

and March 2000 is eligible.

What to send: Please send 1 tearsheet per entry of a spread,

single page or cover. We regret that entry materials will not be

returned. Multiple entries submitted to the "Overall Design or

Case Study" category should be grouped together.

Packaging your entry:

· Label all pieces clearly with name, publication and phone

number.

· Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form and two

copies of that entry form. Tape one copy to the back of each

entry--do not use glue as form must be removed--and

enclose the other copies with entry fee.

· On the outside of the package you send us please write "Art

for contest. No commercial value."

· Overseas entrants: send via mail or international courier.

Payment of fees:

Single entries: $ 25 US or DM 45 per entry

Seven or more entries: $ 20 US or DM 36 per entry

Overall Design or Case Study: $ 65 US or DM 117

· All entrants: Visa, Mastercard and American Express are

accepted. Provide information and signature of approval as

indicated; fee will be debited in US dollars.

· American entrants: Make checks or money orders payable

to Graphis Inc.

· International entrants: Send International Money Order or

check in US funds drafted on a US bank, made payable to

Graphis Inc.

· European entrants: Bank transfers can be made to Graphis,

Account No. 0601617, Deutsche Bank, Lörrach, Germany,

Bank code number 683 700 24, Swift Code: DEUT.DE.6F683.

· German entrants: Euro checks are accepted and should

be made out to Graphis Inc.

· Do not send cash or traveler's checks.

Confirmation of receipt: For confirmation that your entry

has been received, enclose a self-addressed, stamped post-

card. International entrants, enclose a self-addressed post-

card and add $1 US for postage to total entry fee. Graphis

notifies entrants 6-8 months after the submission deadline

whether or not their work has been accepted.

Book Orders: All entrants qualify for a 25% discount on the

purchase of Magazine Design 2. Entrants whose work is pub-

lished qualify for a 50% discount on the purchase.
