Deadline: February 18, 2000
Eligibility: All annual reports created for any company
between November 1998 and December 1999 are eligible.
What to send: Do not send original artwork as entries will not be
returned. Do not send materials larger than 22" x 26". Please do
send unmounted, reproduction-quality duplicate transparencies
or slides. We strongly encourage you to send 4" x 5" or 2 1/4"
transparencies for increased reproduction quality and legibility.
High-resolution digital files are also accepted. They should be 9"
x12", 300 dpi, CMYK in TIFF or EPS format. Along with the dig-
ital file, you must enclose color printouts or transparencies.
Without them, your entry will not be considered. Again, we
regret that entries cannot be returned.
Packaging your entry:
· Label all pieces clearly with name, firm and phone number.
· Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form and two
copies of that entry form. Tape or staple one copy to the back
of each entry--do not use glue as form must be removed--
and enclose the other copies with the entry fee.
· On the outside of the package you send us write "Art for con-
test. No commercial value."
· Overseas entrants: send via mail or international courier.
Slides and transparencies:
· To show the correct orientation, mark the upper-right-hand cor-
ner of each image with an X. We will not be responsible for the
incorrect positioning of any images we receive unmarked.
· Place all slides and transparencies in a plastic sleeve.
Securely tape or staple the entry form to the top left corner
of the sleeve, with the sleeve in front of the entry form, so the
image can be viewed easily.
Digital files:
· Label every disk and CD-ROM--the disk itself, not just the
case--with your name, company and contact information.
Enclose a printed list of the disk's contents. Tape your entry
form securely to the disk or CD case.
· Again, do not forget to include color printouts or transparen-
cies of the image(s) on the disk.
Payment of fees:
Single entries: $ 25 US or DM 45 per entry
Seven or more entries: $ 20 US or DM 36 per entry
Series/campaign of three or more: $ 65 US or DM 117
· All entrants: Visa, Mastercard and American Express are
accepted. Provide information and signature of approval as
indicated; fee will be debited in US dollars.
· American entrants: Make checks or money orders payable
to Graphis Inc.
· International entrants: Send International Money Order, or
check in US funds drafted on a US bank, made payable to
Graphis Inc.
· European entrants: Bank transfers can be made to
Graphis, Account No. 0601617, Deutsche Bank, Lörrach,

· German entrants: Euro checks are accepted and should
be made out to Graphis Inc.
· Do not send cash or traveler's checks.
Confirmation of receipt: For confirmation that your entry
has been received, enclose a self-addressed, stamped
postcard. International entrants, enclose a self-addressed
postcard and add $1 US for postage to the total entry fee.
Graphis notifies entrants 6-8 months after the submission
deadline whether or not work has been accepted.
Book Orders: All entrants qualify for a 25% discount on the
purchase of the Annual Reports book. Entrants whose work
is published qualify for a 50% discount on the purchase.
