Take the Henry Hudson Pkwy North to the Cross County Pkwy East. Cross County
Pkwy. East to Hutchinson River Pkwy North. Use exit 23 North. Proceed on
Mamaroneck Ave. for 5 traffic lights. Make a right, entrance to Burke is immediate left.
From The Tappan Zee Bridge:
NY Thruway, Taconic State Parkway or Route 9 to Route 287 East. Use Exit 9A
Westchester Ave. Make right at first light, Bryant Ave. Proceed 4 lights to
Mamaroneck Ave. Make left onto Mamaroneck Ave. First light make left on
Heatherbloom Rd. Immediate left into Burke.
From New Jersey:
Garden State Parkway to New York State Thruway to Tappan Zee Bridge. Follow
directions above from Tappan Zee Bridge.
From Long Island:
Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Pkwy North. Use Exit 23
North. Proceed on Mamaroneck Ave for 5 traffic lights. Make a right, entrance to
Burke is immediate left.
From Connecticut or New England:
I-95 South to I-287 West. Exit onto Hutchinson River Pkwy South. Use Exit 23
North. Proceed on Mamaroneck Ave for 5 traffic lights. Make a right, entrance to
Burke is immediate left.
By Bus:
Take bee-line to White Plains Trans-Center. Then take bus #60/62 to Burke.
By Train:
Take Metro-North to White Plains station. Take taxicab or bus #60/62 to Burke.

Strokes and Other Brain Diseases
Strokes and other diseases which destroy
brain tissue can lead to problems with
memory and other aspects of cognition.
So can abuse of alcohol or other sub-
stances. Neuropsychological testing can
help to identify these disorders.
Neuropsychological data can also help
families and physicians caring for these
patients.
Mixed Dementia
Problems with memory and other
aspects of cognition are often due to a
mixture of causes, including those listed
above. The extent and nature of the
problems can still be specified by
professional neuropsychological
examination.

screen for concerns about memory, as
well as to comprehensively diagnose
and evaluate specific disorders and
functioning. Neuropsychological
assessment is widely recognized and
frequently used in the area of memory
disorders, and is covered by most
insurance companies, and by Medicare.
