EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY CRITICS AWARD - PRIX FIPRESCI
selection procedure and election of the winner
7.1 The award goes to a European feature film. Films taken into consideration must
have been produced after 1
st
July 2005.
7.2 A jury composed of FIPRESCI members decides upon the winner in this category.
7.3 The winner is announced at the awards ceremony.
7.4 The winner is invited to the ceremony.
8.
EUROPEAN ACHIEVEMENT IN WORLD CINEMA - Prix Screen International
selection procedure and election of the winner
8.1.
The award honours an outstanding achievement in world cinema. Candidates must
be born in Europe or bearer of a European passport.
8.2.
In co-operation with Screen International, the committee establishes a list of
candidates from all outstanding performances (director, actor, screenwriter,
cinematographer, composer etc).
8.3 In co-operation with Screen International, the committee decides on the recipient
of the award.
8.4
The winner is announced before the awards ceremony.
8.5
The winner is invited to the awards ceremony.
9.
EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY DOCUMENTARY PRIX ARTE
nomination procedure and election of the winner
9.1.
The award is presented to a European* documentary film of particular merit.
Films taken into consideration must have been produced after 1st July 2005.
9.2.
A committee composed of documentary film festival directors, journalists and
other experts appointed by EFA and Arte nominates app 8 candidates in this
category.
9.3.
The nominated films will be screened in closed sessions in October to a jury
made up of three EFA members appointed by EFA and Arte to decide on the
recipient of the award.
9.4.
The winner is announced by EFA and Arte in October.
9.5.
The award will be presented to the winner at the European Film Awards ceremony.
9.6.
The winner is invited to the awards ceremony.
