· Frontier Airlines announced plans to expand airline service from its hub at Denver International Airport. Effective
in May the Denver-based airline will add flights to Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Portland, Phoenix, Salt Lake
City, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. In addition, the carrier will supplement its Albuquerque and Austin
service with flights by Frontier JetExpress, a commuter affiliate operated by Mesa Air Group. (Rocky Mountain

Apartments
· The Hanover Company, a Houston-based developer of luxury apartments, plans to construct a 290-unit apart-
ment building in the Golden Triangle neighborhood south of downtown Denver. The project would occupy a site
at 850 Bannock Street currently occupied by Racine's restaurant, which plans to relocate to a new building at
660 Sherman Street in December. Pending approvals by Denver planners, construction on Speer Boulevard
Lofts could begin by midyear. (Rocky Mountain News, 2/12/2003) (80204)
· The Aurora City Council approved plans for a 240-unit apartment community in Original Aurora. Black Creek
Communities will develop the project as part of the Fletcher Plaza urban renewal area along East Colfax Avenue
between Dallas and Galena streets. The first phase of Fletcher Plaza will contain 100 apartment units and
12,000 square feet of retail space along East Colfax Avenue, with construction starting by the end of 2003. A fu-
ture second phase will contain an additional 140 units. (Aurora Sentinel, 2/13/2003) (80010)
· Coolidge Sierra LLC bought the Sierra Vista apartment community at 8851 East Florida Avenue in southeast
Denver. Sundance Housing Associates sold the 206-unit community for $9.4 million, or $45,631 per unit.

· The 144-unit Windsor Court apartments at 10908 East 16

Avenue in north Aurora were sold to Coolidge Win-
dsor LLC. The seller was Windsor Court Housing Associates and the sale price was $6.2 million, or $43,056 per

· Storm King Investments purchased Pinnacle on the Boulevard, a 71-unit high-rise apartment building across
from the University of Colorado medical center at 1011 Colorado Boulevard in east Denver. 1011 Colorado
Boulevard LLC sold the building for $4,560,000, or $64,225 per unit. (Denver Post, 2/11/2003) (80206)

Condominiums
· Peak Properties & Development plans to start work shortly on Garden Crossing, a 55-unit townhouse and con-
dominium community in north Boulder. The project will be located on the site of the former Holiday Drive-In
move theater on Foothills Highway near Broadway. Units are expected to sell in a range of $115,000 to the mid-
$200,000s. Lower priced units will be carriage houses above garages. (Colorado Real Estate Journal, 2/5/2003)

· Construction started on Harris Park, a 50-unit townhouse community in Westminster. Community Builders is de-
veloping the project as part of an urban renewal effort by the City of Westminster. The townhouses will occupy
the site of a long-vacant nursing home at Lowell Boulevard and West 73

Avenue. Sale prices are expected to
