Big Dog Parade Rules
**Failure to abide by the Big Dog Parade Rules can result in removal from the event**
No Parade participants are allowed to stop the
flow of the Parade with the exception of a train
passing through... No performances allowed
during the Parade
To keep children from running into the pathways
of dogs or motor vehicles during the Parade, do
not throw candy, beads, or any other items into
the crowd
No dogs are allowed in the Canine Festival's "No
Dog Zone." If violations occur, the Health
Department will close all food services
Because this event is designed to feature dogs, all
parade entries must include 1 dog (not to exceed
2 dogs per person)
All dogs must stay on a leash at all times
Clean up after your dog...waste bags will be
provided
All dogs must have current rabies and vaccination shots
All dogs must wear current license and I.D. tags
No female dogs in any stage of heat
All dogs must be on their best behavior...No aggressive behavior will be allowed
ONLY safe and comfortable costumes please
