Interns Provide Service While Learning
"Working as a production intern I have been honing my engi-
neering skills for a future in the behind the scenes field of radio
broadcasting, " said Summer Intern Mike Cruz. "DRIS has
been a friendly environment that has allowed me to take part
in every aspect of being an engineer that has intrigued me."
"I learned how to interact with the Cool Edit Pro program,
how to record various shows, how to make PSA's and most
importantly how to sound like a professional on the air, in-
stead of a green college student," said Rob Weber, who vol-
unteered before applying for a 2005 production internship.
