More presidents than deans mentioned traditional mass media as
marketing tool to reach prospective students. Presidents think that radio
advertising and TV advertising are more effective. More presidents
(36 percent) than deans (21 percent) mentioned that they would use radio
advertising to reach potential graduate students. More presidents (18 percent)
than deans (6 percent) mentioned that they would use television advertising.
Seventeen percent of presidents mentioned world of month as a marketing
tool, while none of the deans cited it.
