CLEP: A Way To Cut College Costs


Will all colleges accept CLEP scores?
A college should list their CLEP
policies in its general catalog. If not, check with the Admissions or Financial Aid
Office.


How much credit can I earn? This depends on your college's policy. Some
colleges will award a maximum number of credits, whereas other colleges grant
exemption from taking certain classes but no credit.


How much do CLEP exams cost? Each CLEP exam will cost fifty dollars.


How many course exams are there in the Subject Examinations? There are
twenty-nine exams ranging from American Government to computer applications.


Is there any way that I can study for the exams? There are CLEP preparation
and review guides that can be purchased.
