archives course. Given the prevalence of this course, it is fitting to provide an in-depth
analysis of its composition. This was done through an analysis of the topical coverage of
introductory courses as well as the assigned readings. Before turning to this analysis,
however, a brief focus on the courses themselves is warranted.
