Learning objectives
Students will:
· Examine immigration to the United States, including reasons for immigration and how
immigration affects the U.S.;
· Write an overview of the countries represented by student immigrants in the school and in
the film;
· Become familiar with immigration into the local community and its impact on the area;
· Design and execute an independent study on an immigration issue.
