Section III. General Information
I. Tape Return Policy
Your program and underwriter tapes will be available for pickup during regular business
hours beginning on the first business day after broadcast. For your convenience, we suggest that
you call ahead to tell us that you are coming so that your tapes will be ready and available when
you arrive.
II. Underwriter Tape
MHz NETWORKS should be supplied a copy of all current underwriters for the station's records. MHz
NETWORKS should also have English translations of any audio or on screen video that is produced
in a foreign language.
Translation Reports
Every underwriter must have a translation report, which must be submitted to MHz NETWORKS with
your underwriter tape. MHz NETWORKS may request translation reports for community news or
other segments.
If your program is in English, but sometimes contain segments in another language, MHz
NETWORKS can hire an interpreter to review it at your expense.
III. Pre-Emption
All MHz NETWORKS broadcasts are subject to pre-emption. Your program may be bumped for live
special events. Where possible, your program will be delayed and viewers will be given notice of
the delayed start of the program. Further, MHz NETWORKS reserves the right to bump up to five of
your regular broadcast time slots for purposes of special events and/or fundraising events
conducted by the station, with notice when possible.
IV. Broadcast Questions and Credit Requests
It is important to contact the station in a timely manner if you feel there were any problems with
the broadcast of your program. Therefore, any questions or claims concerning the broadcast must
be made no later than 5:00 PM on the Friday following broadcast. After that time no claims will be
entertained. In no instance will any claim be considered once your tapes have left the station.
V. Payment and Delinquent Accounts
Payments must be received 15 to 30 days after the invoice date. Delinquent accounts are not
acceptable. MHz NETWORKS will not air programs when accounts are delinquent. See contract for
possible late fees.
