BIOSIS Search Guide
The BIOSIS Search Guide is a comprehensive reference manual designed to
support users of BIOSIS Previews and BIOSIS Previews/RN. The guide indexes the
"vocabulary" of the database, provides coverage and includes indexing conventions with
complete details concerning the use of Concept Codes and their Scope Notes as well
as Biosystematic Codes. In addition, tips for more cost-effective and efficient search

Serial Sources for the BIOSIS Previews Database
An annually published list of all source publications monitored by BIOSIS for the
BIOSIS Previews and BIOSIS Previews/RN databases, including approximately

Training Programs
BIOSIS conducts free training seminars worldwide, including Basic, Advanced, and
Med/BIOSIS seminars on BIOSIS Previews, as well as sessions on Zoological Record
and B i o B u s i n e s s. These courses provide detailed explanation of BIOSIS' indexing

Newsletter
BIOSIS produces a newsletter, BIOSIS Evolutions, providing information about
searching all of BIOSIS' products and reporting items of current interest to the users
of biological information. Published six times each year, it is available free of charge.

Site License Program
The Site License Program allows unlimited use of BIOSIS Previews for
an annual license fee. This program is offered to academic, governmental and commer-
