ost meaningful words can be searched in BA on CD and BA/RRM on CD.
When you search for terms in BA on CD or BA/RRM on CD, you can either search
for the terms in specific fields or you can search terms as free text. Searching for terms
in specific fields retrieves only records that contain the terms in the indicated fields.
Searching for terms as free text retrieves records that contain the terms in any field
e x c e p t
the limit fields (PY, BN, CO, LA, SN and UD).
Remember that if you want to search for terms in a specific field, you need to use the
I N operator and the field abbreviation. For example, to search for b r o n c h i t i s in the
Descriptors field (DE), type:
bronchitis in de
and press
[ E n t e r ]

If you want to search for terms as free text, do not include a field abbreviation. For
example, to search for b r o n c h i t i s as free text, type:
b r o n c h i t i s
and press
[ E n t e r ]
.
When searching a particular subject, include all the fields where the term may be
found, such as the Title (TI), Descriptors (DE) and Abstract (AB).
However, if your search focuses on a specific type of information, such as an
author or a particular journal, limit your search terms to the particular field
containing that information.
