ach record in BA on CD and BA/RRM on CD contains a number of separately
searchable data elements called fields. Each field is represented by a two- or four-letter
abbreviation. Data elements make the record format systematic and uniform, organize
the information into useful access points and serve as a means to identify the infor-
mation in the records by clearly labeling each type of information for example,
author or journal name. Following are lists of fields available in BA on CD and
BA/RRM on CD.

* The MJCC and MNCC fields are searchable, but results are displayed in the CC field.
These fields are limit fields, specially indexed fields that must be searched using the
field labels. They are useful for narrowing the scope of your search and provide a faster
means of searching.
