IOSIS offers a wide variety of educational services and support materials specifically
designed to aid our users.
BIOSIS Training Programs
BIOSIS'educational seminars are presented worldwide by trained BIOSIS' User Commu-
nications staff and Training Representatives. The User Communications staff, who serve
the U.S. and Canada, have life science backgrounds and extensive online searching expe-
rience. Training Representatives in non-U.S. areas are expert BIOSIS users authorized
to conduct training programs and assist with search strategy development in a number
of languages.
The new BIOSIS web-based Interactive Instruction Program has been developed to
train and educate customers on the use of BIOSIS products. The site includes interac-
tive tutorials, modular case studies that apply and reinforce the information covered in
tutorials, a glossary of important terms, and additional resources. Visit the BIOSIS web
site at http://www.biosis.org for tutorials focusing on the changes to BIOSIS products.
Finally, Quick Reference Guides for BA and BA/RRM provide valuable information
in a convenient bi-fold format. Designed to serve as an easy-to-use reference aid for
students, Quick Reference Cards supply details on product content, subject coverage,
document types monitored, and use and description of the indexes.
