Composition:
Each ml solution contains: 10mg Ivermectine (=10g/L)
Action:
Ivermectin acts by binding selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride
channels which occur in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This leads to
hyperpolarisation of these cells, resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite.
Compoundsof this class may also interact with other ligand-gated chloride channels, such
as those gated by the neurotransmitter
aminobutyric acid (GABA)
Indication:
Treatment of internal and external parasites in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and camels.
Dosage and administration
By s.c. injection only: 1ml/50kg b.w.
