The National Association of Religious Broadcasters held their annual convention in Dallas in February and
The Word Network was there to celebrate our first birthday with people who have helped to make this net-
work what it is today. We feel enormously proud and humble to be at the place we are now. In one short
year we have been able to reach over 13 million homes with a message of faith and hope.
To all of our viewers we say thank you for your attention and loyalty. To our satellite and cable partners
we say thank you for your support and encouragement. And to all our program providers we say thank
you for the kind of family programming that we are proud to present. As our audience grows, our focus and
commitment to the best in urban ministries and gospel music remains strong and focused. We will not lose
sight of who we are and where we are going. We are glad that you are along for the ride.
