Coordinator who promotes IFSR within that Rotary District, sets up District IFSR
meetings and displays at District Conferences, promotes IFSR membership and
recognition opportunities, etc. The District Coordinator works with the Membership
Committee Chair. Districts do not have officers.
d) Administration of Regions and Sections. Each approved Region and
Section shall be administered by officers elected at the Region/Section
=
s Annual
General meeting, with the organization similar to IFSR
=
s and the officers who are
subject to the same qualifications, nomination and election procedure as set forth
herein for IFSR. The Region/Section Budget is subject to review and approval by
IFSR
=
s Executive Committee.
e) Fund solicitation. No IFSR Region, Section or District will solicit funds
for IFSR or any of its component parts without approval of the IFSR Executive
Committee. Regions and Sections are encouraged to create special promotional and
recognition items (such as IFSR-IAR
=
s already approved Eagle Scout Certificate and
IFSR-IAR
=
s GS USA Gold Award Certificate currently pending WAGGGS approval)
which must be approved in advance but, once approved, may be sold to help generate
funds for that specific Region/Section.

2. Officers. IFSR shall have the following officer positions with candidates
qualified as described herein and with terms of office as follows. Except for
International Chair, each officer is elected for a one year term only; no officer (including
the Chair) may serve for more than three consecutive years in any position within IFSR:
a) International Chair. The International Chair shall be a Rotarian elected
for a two year term of office. S/he may be reelected for one additional one year term.
To be eligible to be nominated as Chair, or a Vice Chair, the candidate must have
previously served as a member of the Executive Committee of IFSR or as an officer of
Rotary International or President of a BSA Scouting Council or National Scouting
organization.
Nomination for IFSR Chair shall be made by the incumbent Chair and
approved by the Executive Committee, or if there is no incumbent, then by the
Executive Committee. Nominations for Chair are to be published to the members at
least one month in advance of the AGM (publication may be in The Scouting Rotarian).
The International Chair is the chief executive officer of IFSR, Chair of
IFSR
=
s Executive Committee and s/he appoints Committee Chairs and others (subject
to confirmation by the Executive Committee) to fulfill the purpose of IFSR, promote it
throughout the world, oversee its financial integrity and its membership growth and
service. If the Chair should die or resign before the end of her/his term, the Executive
