PLASTER BASE COST:
All trees that indicate bare trunk will be shipped bare stem, flat and unshaped.
Earthflora's custom trees are assembled
in paper mache and plaster to stand upright. Price point trees, floor plants, bushes and vines can
also be assembled
in paper mache and plaster. Prices are as follows Plants up to 3' - $4.50; over 3' to 4.5'- $8.50, over 4.5' to 7' $14.50;
over 7' - $25.00 (must be shipped by truck) All prices are net (no discounts).
DISCOUNTS:
Please call us for current discounts and specials. We will offer discounts off any other offer. Retailers call for
your wholesale discounts.
DECORATIVE CONTAINERS:
Decorative containers must be ordered separately. They are not included in the price of any item; see catalog pages
249 254 for selection. See price list pages 39- 42 for cost. (Containers are priced net no discounts apply). It is not
Earthflora's policy to recommend a container size to match a particular size of a tree or plant. If asked for a suggestion,
we will assist, but will not be held responsible. If a container needs to be exchanged for a different size, freight charges
will be borne by the company ordering.
SAMPLES:
Sample cuttings up to 10 items are available at a $5.00 charge.
FIRE RETARDANT FOLIAGE:
Earthflora offers an inherent fire retardant product. We impregnate the necessary fire retardant directly into the fabric and
polyethylene branch components prior to printing and injection molding. Our fire retardant system will not dissipate, wash
off, drip off, or leave a messy, oily film. It meets all the National Fire Prevention Association 701 tests for non-flammability
plus the ASTM E84-95, Standard Test Methods for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials. This test
method is also published under the following designations: ANSI 2.5, NFPA244, UBC 8-1 (42-1) UL 73. All Fire Retardant
Foliage will have an "R" in the prefix and be indicated by a Fire Retardant Symbol. A Red Box with the item number
indicates that item is available Inherent Fire Retardant by special order only.
TERMS:
Orders can be paid by credit card, C.O.D., wire transfer or cash in advance (check); however, first orders require payment
in advance either by check (certified for immediate shipment) or credit card. Checks will be held 10 days before order is
processed or shipped. Credit card payments in excess of $3,000.00 may be assessed a 3.5% service charge. Net 30
days for customers with approved credit, F.O.B Cleveland, OH. All returned checks will incur a $25.00 service charge.
SHIPPING:
Ground Charges will be prepaid and added to the invoices of customers with approved credit (UPS or FedEx). Ground
C.O.D. fee is currently $6.00 per carton. An additional $5.00 per carton handling fee for cartons 60" in length is now a
standard charge for ground shipments by UPS. Truck Freight charges on Truck shipments will be collect unless other
arrangements are made. Residential shipments will be assessed an additional charge.
CARTONING:Our cartons are carefully designed to protect the trees from damage during shipment. Wooden crates are
necessary for most trees 9' and larger. Please ask for a quote.
A reboxing charge of $6.50 applies to all trees indicated with a Box in the price sheet, when ordered individually.
CLAIMS:
Claims for damaged goods are the responsibility of the carrier. Please INSPECT CARTONS BEFORE SIGNING A
DELIVERY RECEIPT or BILL OF LADING. In the event of damage, please mark it on the bill of lading and notify
Earthflora immediately. Avoidance of this procedure will exempt Earthflora from any responsibility.
RETURNS:
A 25% restocking fee will be assessed on returns. Returns are accepted ONLY by prior authorization. Please call to get
a return authorization number BEFORE you send back the items. Mark the outside of the cartons with the return
authorization number. All authorized returns MUST be made within 10 days of return approval. ALL CUSTOM MADE
(ITEMS MADE TO ORDER BY HAND)AND ITEMS SPRAYED FIRE-RETARDANT ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Christmas returns will not be accepted after December 25th.
