submissions you send. Neither can we be held responsible for lost, late or misdirected snail or e-mail. By submitting an article,
video, illustration, photo, poem, short story or any other material, you are granting to Channel One Network the right to use, edit,

submitting videos or photos, you are promising to us that you have gotten permission to do so from the people who appear in the

Creative Writing & Poetry
What we're looking for:
Short fiction and nonfiction, as well as poetry. Dealing with subjects in your life might make for stronger pieces.
Possible topics include things like "The road trip of my life" or "First Love."
Please use the following guidelines to submit your piece:
·
Word documents, ASCII and plain text ONLY. DO NOT SEND HARD COPIES. Only electronic text files
will be accepted.
·
Your pieces may be as long or as short as they need to be. For poems, everything from three-line haiku
to epic ballads is acceptable. Know that for creative writing, if you send us something really long, we
make only publish part of it.
Within the document of your piece must be the following information:
·
Your first and last name
·
Your age
·
Your grade
·
School's name
·
School's city and state
·
Your e-mail address
·
A contact phone number, including area code.
TIPS
·
Be original! That means no song lyrics or other people's poetry.
·
Be creative! Feel free to use poetic license in your spelling and punctuation, but avoid blatant misspelling
or your work will be edited.
·
Remember: All subject matter must be age-appropriate.
You can submit your work in ONE of two ways:
