For two weeks in late summer each year, the US Open Is the focus of the

The resurgence of the game in Asia and general public interest has been
heightened through players such as Paradorn Srichaphan (Thailand),

and it is poised only to improve with newer players making their way

The current 2005 US Open Tennis champions are Roger Federer (Men's Singles), Kim
Clijsters (Women's Singles), Bob and Mike Bryan (Men's Doubles), Lisa Raymond and
Samantha Stosur (Women's Doubles), Daniela Hantuchova and Mahesh Bhupathi
(Mixed Doubles).
