This takes the total portfolio of properties to 21 hotels and

The group's newest management acquisitions are The Sebel
Lodge Yarra Valley, which opened on April 16, 2002, and
Citigate Sebel Sydney (formerly Furama Hotel Central), which
took up its new brand on January 15, 2003.
Sebel Lodge Yarra Valley
This spectacular new 102-room boutique hotel (The Sebel
Lodge Yarra Valley), is an integral part of the prestigious
Heritage Golf and Country Club, the only private Jack
Nicklaus Signature Course in Australia.
Superbly located overlooking one of the country's foremost
wine regions, the Yarra Valley, the hotel enjoys the idyllic
position of having over 40 top wineries right on its doorstep.
Just 40 minutes from Melbourne via the Eastern Freeway,
The Sebel Lodge Yarra Valley features 96 spacious and superbly
appointed guest rooms and six suites, all with balconies or
outdoor terraces. Six stunning meeting/conference venues,
catering for guests from 8 to 308, all offer natural light and
terrace break-out areas.
Citigate Sebel Sydney
Mirvac Hotels and Resorts were appointed managers of the
Furama Hotel Central, (located at the southern end of Sydney's
CBD) in early 2002 and immediately embarked upon a multi-
million dollar refurbishment program of the hotel.
All 270 guestrooms, the restaurant and bar, pool and
recreation area, and public areas have under-gone a complete
transformation, and the meeting areas upgraded. The hotel will
be renamed "Citigate Sebel Sydney", and start the year 2003
under Mirvac's newly created hotel branding. Citigate Sebel
Sydney has 10 meeting rooms catering for groups from 8 to 220.
