“Tiger” is a young man going on 40, who still lives with his parents and who sleeps with his beloved,
homemade guitar.
Through the stories Tiger reads out at a creative writing class he attends for inspiration and his telling lyrics, we learn the
stories of Tiger and his family and friends, including his mother (a pie-baking machine) and his childhood friend Jack
Nevada, who has long since emigrated to the United States. The tales are full of the bittersweet variety of humor. Rock
‘n’ Roll Never Dies is a modern parable about the noble perseverance of a strange and ambitious guitarist
who doesn’t sell his soul to the devil but remains faithful to his own ideals. Constructed around rock classics and
flashbacks, the film is filled with humorous allusions and visual witicisms that will not pass unnoticed for the rock
‘n’ roll lover . . . Cast: Samuli Edelmann, Laura Birn, Marjukka Halttunen, Seppo Halttunen, Risto Tuorila,
