UniFlux membrane systems with UNICORN control
UNICORNTM control brings a new standard into membrane separations. UNICORN allows
full automation of UniFluxTM systems, or manual control with data-logging capabilities.
UniFlux systems can be configured for hollow-fiber cartridge or cassette separations, and
are easily incorporated into a downstream process.

Packing MabSelect in a Chromaflow 600 column
MabSelectTM is a protein A based affinity medium designed for high-throughput capture.
As this study shows, MabSelect can be easily packed into large-scale columns without
loss of performance.

Simpler purification with new STREAMLINE Direct
An oscillating distributor arm, no bottom screen and a new high-salt tolerant adsorbent
allow this second generation of STREAMLINETM products to enhance the benefits of EBA
for direct capture of target protein from crude feedstock.

A customer in The Netherlands has improved its process in terms of both yield and time
by combining a STREAMLINE 200 column with an ÄKTApilotTM system.

New faster, scalable isolation of viral vectors
"Q SepharoseTM XL virus licensed" is suitable for chromatographic purification of
adenovirus and other viruses for use in gene therapy and vaccine applications.

Purifying human influenza virus vaccine towards a generic strategy
Viral vectors and vaccines are the vehicles being developed for delivery of genetic
material to target cells in gene therapy. Within the purification procedure, there is a clear
move towards using ultrafiltration and liquid chromatography techniques in a combined
strategy.
