In addition to our outreach efforts by attending career fairs and career days, we
have also sent out over 100 notification letters to different organizations groups
and universities within Michigan and the United States, soliciting if they would
like to be notified on current job position available at MacDonald Broadcasting
Company,

Provide Training to Senior Level Staff Members on EEO program. In May of
2003, MacDonald Broadcasting Company sent two employees, our EEO Office
and our Executive Assistant, to a training seminar hosted by the Michigan
Association of Broadcasters. The seminar featured David Oxenford of Shaw
Pittman LLC, and included an encompassing presentation regarding the new
changes and policies regarding the FCCs new rulings on Equal Opportunity
Programs. With the information collected at that meeting, Kristine Rodabaugh,
our Executive Assistant devised a training program and tracking program to make
sure that the MacDonald Broadcasting Company would be in compliance with the
new EEO Rules. At the monthly Department head meetings, which encompasses
all Senior Level Staff Managers, Kristine Rodabuagh lead the managers through
the MacDonald Broadcasting Company EEO Training Program. We took them
through a PowerPoint presentation to show why an EEO Outreach program is
important to MacDonald Broadcasting Company and the surrounding
communities. Within that presentation, we showed how the EEO program has
evolved within the FCC as well as the merits of the program. We also showed
what would happen if there was not an EEO Program in place within MacDonald
Broadcasting Company and the penalties and regulations enforced by the FCC.
At the end of the presentation, we gave each attendee the steps to complete an
EEO packet to make sure there is wide dissemination of the information as well as
compliance with the program. After that was distributed, we opened it up for a
question and answer session. Based on the questions received at the Department
Head Meeting, we have made some changes to the system and have made it easier
for them to be in compliance with our EEO Program.
The Executive Management Team (EMT) of MacDonald Broadcasting Company
which consists of Duane Alverson, President, Ken MacDonald Jr., Owner, Cindy
Tuck, Vice President and Rick Walker, Operations Manager, have conducted
monthly leadership building skills workshop based on John Maxwell's "The 21
Immutable Laws of Leadership" series. This is used in conjunction with the EEO
Program in the terms of the leadership they need to help their employees follow
the EEO Program and make sure it is followed.

Establishing a Mentoring Program to enable station personnel to acquire
skills. At MacDonald Broadcasting Company, we have taken new In February of
2003, Kristine Rodabaugh was approached to help take over the WKCQ Country
Music Fest Free Concert, initially coordinated by Barb Sheltraw. In the
discussion regarding the transition of the Lead Coordinator of the KCQ Country
Music Fest Free Concert, it was agreed upon that Barb Sheltraw would still be
