Selbert Perkins Design conceptualized the identity, gateway pylons, and environmental
communications for the Los Angeles World Airports LAX Gateway Enhancement Project
as a part of a collaborative team. The design team includes: Ted Tokio Tanaka
Architects, architect, IMA Design Group, Inc., landscape architects, Lighting Design
Alliance, lighting designers, Isenberg and Associates, Inc., art consultants, Ove Arup &
Partners, engineers and the UCLA Urban Simulation Team.
Selbert Perkins Design (SPD) is a multi-disciplinary design firm whose mission is to
inform, educate, and entertain through the power of art, communications, and
environmental design. SPD applies its knowledge and experience to its consumer-based
design process including strategic brand identity design; print and environmental
communications design; product and packaging design; landscape architecture; urban
design: public art and sculpture; and multi-media design. SPD has 45 employees and
offices in Arlington, MA and Santa Monica, CA.
