Digiplex - 3brochure 04
Welcome to Scandinavia's leading secure, independent centre for IT housing.
This guide provides a complete orientation to our Centre, its services and environs in an A Z format.
At DigiPlex, security is paramount. Purpose-built in 1981 as a secure government data centre for Statens Data
Sentral (SDS), the DigiPlex Centre comprises some 8,000 square metres over five storeys and provides a diverse
range of accommodation from secure `bunkers' to data suites, network operations rooms, laboratory space, hot
desking and open plan office facilities. Expert human and sophisticated technological security systems ensure the
utmost protection.
Independence is also vital. Our Centre offers multiple local and international telecommunications connections,
ensuring complete choice for our customers. With no vested financial interest in the choice of telecomms carriers,
hardware, software or application service providers our customers choose to work with, we are committed to their
pursuit of best value and practice.
DigiPlex customers include outsourcers and systems integrators, governmental organisations, telecommunications
companies, security providers and major corporations in essence, anyone who seeks a highly secure, independent
environment for either frontline or back-up IT housing.
Our world class ownership underpins the long term assurance and independence we provide. DigiPlex Norway AS is a
joint venture between The Carlyle Group (www.thecarlylegroup.com) one of the world's leading equity investors and
its management, led by Chief Executive Byrne Murphy. Our funding structure and ownership of the building
ensures security and scalability for customers into the long term.
Operated by a Norwegian management team with outstanding experience of the needs of Norway's corporations,
we build on these world class foundations by developing strong local relationships.
DigiPlex in essence offers security of service we provide guaranteed continuity of power and telecomms services into
environmentally controlled modules, suites and rooms. In addition, we can provide a range of support services to
ensure we precisely meet individual needs.
