4. Prizes:
a. Weekly Prizes Each participating sponsor will provide a "Weekly Prize" during
one week of the contest period. This prize will be announced on WBTA Radio
and displayed on the station's website, WBTA1490.com. A Weekly Prize will
have an approximate retail value of $100. The prize is provided by the
participating sponsor as promotional consideration for participating in the
contest. No cash equivalent is offered. Prize may not be exchanged or
substituted. The weekly prize will be awarded on Friday or Saturday at the
sponsor location from all entries received at that sponsor location up to the date
and time of the drawing. Chances of winning the prize shall be determined by
the number of entries received. Winner of the weekly prize shall be notified by
WBTA that they have been selected as a Weekly Prize winner and
arrangements will be made for the winner to pick-up their prize at the sponsor
location or other means arranged by the winner and WBTA Radio.
b. Grand Prize One Grand Prize will be awarded at the end of the contest
period. A random drawing will be held at WBTA Radio Studios, 113 Main St.,
Batavia, NY on September 6, 2006 from all entries received at all sponsor
locations up until 5pm, September 1, 2006. The chances of winning the Grand
Prize shall be determined by the number of entries received. The Grand Prize
will be the winner's choice of one of the following three (3)"Vacation Packages":
1. Carnival Cruise for Two Must be used by: December 31, 2006.
Cruise only on the Glory departing from Port Canaveral stopping at
Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Marten. Value: $950 based upon two
persons sharing the same room. Includes taxes, port charges, meals
and entertainment on the ship. Does not include transportation to or
from Port Canaveral.
2. Las Vegas Package Must be used by December 31, 2006. Roundtrip
air from Buffalo to Las Vegas, roundtrip transfers, Three (3) nights
accommodations at the Stratosphere Hotel. Value: $998 based upon
two persons sharing the same room.
3. Poconos Package Must be used between December 1, 2006 through
March 31, 2007. Three (3) nights accommodations at the Fairway
Suites with Jacuzzi and fireplace, breakfast and dinner each day.
Value: $930 based upon two persons sharing the same room.
c. Grand Prize is furnished by First Choice Travel, Batavia, NY, in return for
promotional consideration on WBTA Radio. First Choice travel will allow winner
to upgrade the package with a full credit toward the upgrade at the value shown
for the package of the winner's choice. Some restrictions may apply to dates
and other factors as is normal and customary in the booking of vacation travel.
No cash equivalent is offered. No exchange or substitution is allowed without
the consent of First Choice Travel and WBTA Radio.
5. If it becomes necessary to change any rule of this contest, WBTA Radio shall
immediately announce on the air and post to its website the necessary change. Any
dispute over the awarding of a prize, the eligibility of a contestant, or the conduct of the
contest shall be resolved by WBTA Radio and its decision is final.
