Rosemarie Over, Administration Manager, New Plymouth
Rosemarie Over is responsible for coordinating 15 staff at
City Care's New Plymouth branch. With her cheery nature and
"can do" attitude, she is never too busy to help and is likely
to be the fi rst friendly voice people hear when they call the
offi ce.
Rosemarie, who immigrated to New Zealand in May 2002,
took up the Administration Manager's position with City
Care in January this year. Her background in administration
has ranged from school offi ces in the United Kingdom to
construction companies.
She is pretty modest about the importance of her role,
describing herself as a small cog in a very large wheel.
Tasked with coordinating and dispatching staff to various jobs
in New Plymouth, Rosemarie says it is crucial for her to be
able to think on her feet, be highly organised and prioritise.
A sense of humour is also essential, she says, working with
such a big team.
The mother of two grown boys has another claim to fame...
she is also the Taranaki masters champion for swimming.
