The TASTE OF GRAND RAPIDS & BARBECUE COMPETITION has
moved to a new location at John Ball Park in Grand Rapids. This
three-day outdoor food festival on July 22
nd
, 23
rd
and 24
th
2005, will
showcase the diversity of West Michigan's dining community under the
shady trees at John Ball Park.
This Friday through Sunday weekend festival which is now in its third
year not only features different foods designed to appeal to a variety
of palates, but is also complimented by live musical entertainment,
comedy, a beer garden and exciting activities for family members of all
ages.
We are anticipating crowds in excess of 20,000 over three days.
WBCT B93 and WBFX The Fox will broadcast live from this event and
will extensively promote TASTE OF GRAND RAPIDS in the weeks
prior to its start.
The TASTE OF GRAND RAPIDS is a fabulous marketing tool for area
restaurants. This event gives restaurants an opportunity to allow
patrons to sample their specialties while at the same time promoting
their restaurant to potentially new customers.
