Santa Clara, California
San Francisco Bay Area Recreation & Relaxation
Combine an exceptionally productive business trip with an incredibly relaxing vacation.
Santa Clara, proclaimed as Silicon Valley Central, has golf, tennis and Paramount's Great
America theme park--all within walking distance of the resort-style Santa Clara
Convention Center. Within minutes, you can be relaxing on a picturesque beach, touring
pastoral wine country, hiking through the scenic recreation areas or marveling at the
majestic California Redwoods. For more information visit www.santaclara.org.
Travel
The Santa Clara area is served by the San Jose International Airport and is just five
freeway miles from the Santa Clara Convention Center. The San Francisco and Oakland
Airports are within 45-60 minutes driving time. Interstate 880, 280 and 101 combine to
surround Santa Clara on three borders. Light rail, hotel shuttle systems, taxis and plenty of
free parking make travel easy. A variety of transportation is available to accommodate
your needs: CalTrain, Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Light Rail or Valley Transit.
